I tried to be slightly original with it, I didn't want to go for the usual angel/devil thing so I went for something steampunk inspired!

I'm glad you made a request as I would have probably just done a mediocre job otherwise and not pushed myself on quality, therefore not improving my skills. So thanks for that XD

I have a fun one lined up from another friend, and then there's the novel to contend with... looks like I have lots of drawing projects planned, which is most excellent :D

Awesome concept; steampunk is win. :) Good job on the line width variation, it makes her stand out more from the background - and having said that, it's all nicely integrated as a whole by the colour scheme. I would have to say, watch out for the thumb on her right hand as it looks as if it's on the outside rather than the inside, but overall I'd say great job! :D

Do'h. The thumb probably looks like that because it is on the outside, and to tell you the truth I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. I'm sure at one stage I must have drawn it in the correct position but became carried away when I was colouring it. You've made me look really silly now!

I was impressed with the colour scheme as well, considering how awful I usually am at picking colours - oh well, I'm sure it comes with practice.

p.s. I just noticed I uploaded the sketch and upon further inspection I didn't even draw it properly. Oh lawd.

Ha ha; hooray for steampunk :p I really need to do some more artwork on it though, there's just so much to explore and so many ideas to develop... and I'm sure I can put an ecchi spin on it too ><
